Notes

8/29/2023 - Brew Day - Mashed 60 minutes. Boiled an extra 15 minutes to increase SG. Pitched Lutra Kveik yeast at 78 degrees and fermented under 5psi of preassure. A lot of the fermentation seemed to happen overnight when I checked the following morning, and it looks like the fermentation got up to around 82-84 degrees.

9/7/2022 - Transferred to secondary on top of 3 split & scraped vanilla beans. Plan to let sit for 2 weeks before kegging.

9/22/2023 - Kegged - Add 375ml Jim Beam and 2 TB Mexican Vanilla. Flavor was very smooth, so this should definitely be a great batch. I think the Lutra yeast made it even more mellow and lager-like.
